Hey there! Glad to see all is well. Any marathon training going on in these cold summer months?

We miss you, and the pictures of the flowers. One day I'd love to hear about the lens you use for those...I'm just dabbling in lenses myself and it's a brand new world for me.

Tuli

Great masthead! That path could lead ANYWHERE, ya know?

If I listen hard enough, I can actually hear that courtyard fountain and the murmur of conversations spoken in a language that is not English.

Lynn

What the hooey is that THING on your plate??? I'm not altogether sure about it.

P.S. The lady with the basket seems to be having a rough day. Did you hug her?

Paola

I've been checking you blog daily and I am so happy to hear you're just FINE.
Now. Ya gonna tell us anything about St. Martin? (wink wink)

kmkat

I want to be in that courtyard, eating your salad.

Just Plain Jane

Just assure us that you'll return. I admire you for taking a break. Enjoy your Southern summer.

Silke

I am glad you are having a great time and break. Weren't you visiting your family in the US? Well, I look forward to you being back and amusing me with your musings! :) Silke

I have to tell you....I love your blog! It's witty and clever. So many blogs I read are just boring brag fests and yours is unique and fun. I am German girl living in Singapore, and your commentary on German life brings me home! Thank you! You are real!!!!!!

The Coffee Lady

No. I don't recall who you are. Are you the one who makes the cakes?

kim at allconsuming

Man, everytime I swing by there are stunning photos of the countryside and evocations of a life I think I'd like to live. A lot. Stop making me sigh so loudly OK. Sheesh.

Alexis

Man oh man, I want that salad!

Welcome back! :)

Molly

Welcome back! I missed you and your amazing photos. How is your marathon training going? Glad to hear all is well.

suse

Just dropped in to make you jealous. Eleanor was my room mate for the last three nights. We had midnight feasts, and giggled, and told ghost stories and and and and and ...

Oh ok, we spent the whole time talking about YOU. There. I said it.

Eleanor

It's true, we constantly referred to you..."Eurolush would have really cute pyjamas, and she'd have fluffy slippers, Eurolush would be working on jewelery
and aprons and lavender sachets, Eurolush would never eat just ONE timtam with her tea, Eurolush would be dancing in the backyard in her bathrobe...."

Ahem....

Suse sleeps like a tiny mouse, so so cute. I really wanted to tuck her in and kiss her on the cheek...but I didn't...I did, however, give her an extra tight hug a couple of times. But not in bed. Obviously.

P.S. Oh look at that, Kim from Allconsuming is in your commentbox!

Green Girl in Wisconsin

I'll have what she's having--but with a beer, please.

Limecat

EATING?!! I was worried sick in case you'd got embroiled in some kind of blog punch up and general fracas and what were you doing? EATING!

Good girl! Hope you had a nice break.

Spruce Hill

I was hoping everything was ok! Welcome back we missed you!
