I've been meaning to post these photos from our trip to England for days now, but have been stricken with pre-Christmas anxiety. Please enjoy these photos, while I walk through the house wringing my hands and talking to myself in panicked whispers.
Oh--I've also added my first video, taken inside the Bath Abbey while choir practice was going on. It was magical. Hope it works.
Hampton Court
London
Lacock, Bath and Stonehenge
Choir practice at Bath Abbey from Eurolush on Vimeo.
We loved our visit to Jolly Olde England.
Can't wait to go back again soon.
Looks like we've done the same daytrip! Back in 2005 my sister and I did a bus tour from London to Lacock, Bath and back to London via Stonehenge. Bath was just divine. But you know already.... because you've been there.... obviously. Looks like you had fun!

Looks like you had an amazing (and very busy) visit! I live just down the road from Hampton Court! Bath is my favorite city in England, but despite all our visits, I've never been inside the abbey. Now I know what it looks like! K x

I really need to go to London. Hell, I need to live there because the architecture alone would provide such joy. I hope the Londoners appreciate all the beauty.
Thanks for sharing! The video was lovely -- it gave me goosebumps.

I attended an organ recital at Bath Abbey one million years ago when I was a freewheeling backpacker. I am familiar with the magic whereof you speak. FAB photos!!!

So lovely. The light in that restaurant. The phone booth. The sky. Thanks.

How wonderful to see everything through your eyes. I am enchanted to think that you went into the Pump Room - I hope that the cakes were good. And it looks as though Stonehenge was everything that you wanted it to be...

Lovely, lovely, lovely.....Sigh......
Plus... I see the resting place of "Good ol' Charlie," as my Grandpa likes to call him. Grandpa is a huge fan of Charlie. Whenever I complain that things in my life are changing and I can't cope he yells down the telephone at me "Remember my buddy Charlie, ADAPT, ADAPT, ADAPT, you can do it El!"

So glad you had such a good trip, judging by the photos. Meeting Magpies was correctly done; The rhyme says sighting two magpies means joy.
You only have Shakespeare country,Wales, Edinburgh and Cornwall to cover next time!
